The House of Shades tells the story of the Webster family across half a century. It is a haunted and bloody saga of a family at war with themselves and the times they live in. 

 

The House of Shades was to have its world premiere at the Almeida Theatre, London, in May 2020 with Blanche McIntyre directing and Anne Marie Duff starring. The play has been postponed due to the Coronavirus crisis.
